Q. Once I place an order, how long will it take for the products to arrive?

A. If you paid by credit card on the website, your order will ship within 2 - 3 days and will arrive within 8 – 14 days after that. If you paid by check, your order will ship within 2 – 3 days after your check clears and will arrive within 8 – 14 days after that.

Q. Will Lone Star Bird Houses ship internationally?

A. Lone Star Bird Houses will ship internationally with special arrangements. However, the shipping is not free in this case and must be paid by the customer. If you want to get an order shipped internationally, please include that with your order and we will contact you with the shipping rates before your order is processed.

Q. What if I order a birdhouse and when I get it, it's damaged, not the right type of birdhouse for what I want to attract after all, or I just plain don't like it?

Q. Does Lone Star Bird Houses have a catalog?

A. No, at this time Lone Star Bird Houses doesn't have a catalog. If you prefer to order by mail and not over the internet, or if you are unable to print out the order form, we will mail you the order form and you can send it back to us with product and payment information. Q. Will a bird really nest in a decorative bird house?

A. In most cases, yes. It does depend on several factors, such where the birdhouse is placed, the size of the entrance hole and what type of bird you're trying to attract. Nesting cavities can be hard to come by, so if you provide one chances are a bird will take it. Please see our “Birds That Use Birdhouses” page for specific entrance hole sizes and habitat requirements.
